Just an hour and a half from Madrid International Airport, and half an hour from the Imperial City of Toledo, you may discover this wonderful wildlife property.
El Quinto de Luciañez is a private estate nestled in the heart of the Mounts of Toledo. A reserve for protected species such as the Iberian lynx and the Spanish imperial eagle, it features an unique group of buildings housing the suites, a lounge for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events, and a private 15-meter pool, perfect for swimming in the spring time and summer, surrounded by nature.

Two places to stay and relax : “Olivia’s House” and “Ronnie’s Suite” – posthumous names of their owner’s beloved dogs – make up, for now, the accommodations, located in a large old farmhouse from the 1800s, with stables and which were home to legendary horsemen, day laborers and farmhands.
Their owner, David March, has renovated them without having to do extensive interior work, but still giving them an unique flavor. To achieve this, he used the property's own resources and materials, such as granite and wood... Nothing beats natural elements to feel the essence of the countryside in the interiors and remain connected to it within a room...

“Olivia’s House” has a capacity of 4 to 5/6 people, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one of them in suite, two living rooms, each one of them with chimney and fire place, one dining room and a kitchen. This house offers two entrance, one through the main horse patio, and the other one from the countryside.

“Ronnie’s Suite” has a capacity of 4 to 6 people. It’s a half africa las n and provenzal styled suite, with two big bedrooms, one of them with a big chimney and fire place to relax in the fall and winter, and a big bathroom with two designer showers in a large space with a stone wall.

Both houses, “Olivia’s House” and “Ronnie’s Suite” together, may host 10 to 12 people .

The estate is located 36 km from the Puy du Fou theme park, a very interesting place to visit. Tickets to the park and its shows can be arranged from the estate.

Gastronomic Experiences:
The estate offers its kitchen for guests, offering an ideal complement to the service in breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Showcookings featuring rice dishes and local cuisine are part of the integrated gastronomic programs, both for visitors and events.

The estate's multiple special areas for enjoying these gastronomic experiences make each moment unique, whether in its patios lit by fig trees, or under the centuries-old oak trees, or in its various lounges and porches, in the Casa Vaquera, or in the SUNDOWNER itself. The gastronomy takes on a special meaning, from breakfast to dinner.

The raw materials are natural, from the Montes region, the eggs are from the chickens' free range... and as a whole, it can be adapted for both carnivores and vegans.

Nature experiences and environmental education:
As the property has been declared a SCI (Site of Community Interest by the EU) and a SPA (Special Protection Area for Birds), its setting is ideal for environmental education programs and experiences.

Ornithology therefore plays a prominent role in its programs, as countless species of raptors and birds can be encountered:

The raptors include: Imperial Eagle, Red and Black Kite, Common Buzzard, Booted Eagle, Short-toed Eagle, Golden Eagle, Black and Griffon Vultures, Kestrels, etc.; and nocturnal birds such as the Eagle Owl, Tawny Owl, Scops Owl, Barn Owl, and Barn Owl.

And other birds such as the heron, black stork, golden oriole, hoopoe, magpie, Iberian woodpecker, jay, roller, crow, jackdaw, coal tits, blue tits, greenfinch, serin, goldfinch, linnet, robin, black redstart, warblers... etc.

The estate also covers herpetology, with a unique route for observing and meeting the region's largely forgotten amphibians and reptiles.

Hiking, combined with nature photography, is another important activity on the estate. You can photograph both species, such as those mentioned above, and "cathedrals" of flora, such as the 500-year-old cork oak, a record holder in Castilla-La Mancha. Not to mention geological photography, including large boulders and prehistoric granite formations, which offer an incredible setting for photography.
Mycology and Environmental Education Workshops are also offered on this diverse estate.

Both its proximity to Imperial Toledo and to unique villages that were relevant to the life of these three cultures—which were more than three (Etruscan and Roman, Arab, Visigoth and Gothic, Jewish, and Christian)—make it possible to take cultural tours to unusual vestiges of these cultures with expert guides in each.

Some of these tours are also on private estates, while others are in nearby towns and Toledo.

Access to the estate is very easy, from Madrid via the A-42, the Madrid – Toledo Highway, and then the CM 403, to Las Ventas with Peña Aguilera and from there, just over 3 km, towards Cabañeros National Park, the road with direct access
