Comfortably sleeps 4. There's a sofa to spread out in too. In Dunleer, Co. Louth, close to Drogheda, Newgrange and the M1 for easy access to Dublin and Belfast airports.

This is the biggest room at Rathescar Grove Guest House — a proper family setup with a king bed and bunk beds, plus a sofa if anyone wants their own corner to spread out. No balcony on this one, but the window view more than makes up for it: farmland, grazing cattle, and the Cooley and Mourne mountains laid out in front of you.

It's built for families, but works just as well for a group of friends who want the extra space. Private ensuite, and everything you need in-room — fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, hairdryer, iron. We stock bread, milk, tea, coffee, butter and jam so your first morning doesn't mean a supermarket run with tired kids in tow.

Neighbourhood & Getting Around

Right off Junction 12 of the M1, about 15 minutes from Drogheda, roughly 40 minutes from Dublin Airport and around 1hr 10 from Belfast City Airport. Newgrange and Monasterboice are a straightforward drive through the Boyne Valley if you want a morning of history the kids will actually remember. For the bigger day out, Funtasia waterpark and Emerald Park are both within easy reach — the kind of day that tires everyone out before dinner.

Guest access
Full use of this room. Front door unlocked 3pm–9pm for easy self-check-in; message us ahead if you're arriving later and we'll sort key collection. Free on-site parking, right there when you pull in.

Other things to note
Standard checkout 11:00am; late checkout to 2pm available for €30, subject to turnover — check with us first. No pets, quiet hours 10pm–7am, not set up for parties, hen or stag groups.
